Lake Girl Turned Nubble Local

I grew up in Middletown, Connecticut, home to Wesleyan University and the best Italian bakery ever, and spent every free minute swimming or skating on our backyard lake. I opened my first business at age four and ‘sold’ it to my five-year-old neighbor. Every school fundraiser after that, from Girl Scout cookies to sugar-frosted Christmas candle holders, confirmed it: sales was my thing.

After college, I studied international business, design, and architecture in Salamanca, Spain, then came home to launch a global mail-order business with my brother. We built a massive database and sold it to one of the largest communication providers in the country.

Then I discovered Vacationland. I bought and renovated that Victorian on the Nubble, jumped into helping people buy and sell homes, and met a hockey guy who became my happily ever after. Today I lead Abigail Douris Real Estate, bringing the same eye for design and potential to every client I work with.

Off the clock, I’m figure skating, baking the best chocolate chip cookies, working in my garden, or cheering at the rink with our crew of kids. And yes, my office really is pink.
